Forth is an amazing language first developed in 1968 by Charles Moore. t was most likely the very first open source software. Chuck used it to program the Kit Peak telescope back then. It has always had a Chatbot interface, a terminal which you could execute "Words" and incrementally define new ones. Unlike compiled languages like C, C++, Pascal, Rusk and all the rest, you can change a function "Word" and just compile the new Word without re-compiling the entire application. We have developed a new chip Forth called the CORE I for CISC Over RISC Engine for FPGAs and ASICs. This includes a full Forth Computer including both the Interpreter and Compiler as a separate parallel processing engine. Imagine having a hundred 32 bit Forth computers on a $100 FPGA. The latest goal for Chatbots is word execution. Well, Forth has supported this for 60 years. Now a group of enthusiasts are building a new Forth with all the features you want. Build your own Forth chip, create your own op-codes, they become Words in your Forth and run at the speed of silicon. In-fix notation will also be supported as well as named local variables.
